Devotional
In order to understand what love is, you need to look at what love isn't. Paul gives us a look at both. If you were to start this passage with Christ you would get a perfect picture of who He is. It is because of His love for us that He went to the cross to pay the debt we owe.
Scripture Reference
1st Corinthians 13:5-7
does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Action Point
Look for the potential in people. Instead of looking at who they are, look at who they could be in Christ Jesus. Our job is not to condemn, but to love.
